Julie Rose DeFeo

Julie Rose DeFeo has been a glass bead artist for 15 years and a jewelry designer for over 20 years. With a passion for earthy colors and nature-inspired shapes, Julie’s work reflects her love of the Southwest.  Julie works out of her home studio in Santa Fe, NM.  She has studied with Kate Fowle Meleney, John Winter, Tink Martin, Michael Mangiafico, Holly Cooper, and Loren Stump.

Julie’s work has been shown in Chicago, Tucson, Philadelphia, Palo Alto, Taos and Santa Fe.  She serves on the advisory board of the Taos Institute for Glass Arts and her jewelry can be seen in City of Mud art space in Santa Fe, and Copper Moon Gallery in Taos, NM.  Julie teaches beginning and intermediate lampwork glass bead making at Glorieta Glassworks in Glorieta, NM..
